What is Family Ark?
Family Ark has been around for more than 40 years providing
foster care and other community based services to the children
and families of Southern Indiana. Regional Youth Services
acquired Noah's Ark Children's Village in Jefersonville in 2012,
and took on a new name, Family Ark, which conveys the fact
that we provide programs and services for the entire family. At
Family Ark, we believe in second chances – a second chance
for a child to fnd a safe, loving, compassionate home, free
from abuse and neglect; a second chance for families to grow
stronger and stay together; a second chance for children to
heal, learn, and grow up happy. Family Ark serves all children
and parents of Southern Indiana.

May is National Foster Care Month. If you
are an adult with a heart for children,
Family Ark wants to talk to you. With just
days until their annual fundraiser – Giving
Hope to Families, which was on April 16 –
our writer Stacy Tomas had a chance to
catch up with Jeanean Jacobs to discuss all
things family.
