ADAM KLEINERT Art Director Born and raised in Clark County, Adam only left the utopia of Southern Indiana to receive a formal education in fine arts at Ball State. He is the owner of Hatch Design Co. and is proudly raising his family in the region he loves. When not designing, Adam can usually be found woodworking, cooking or cheering on the Henryville Hornets. TONY BENNETT Chief Photographer Tony takes very few personal photographs. He loves every opportunity to hang out/spend time/travel with his lovely wife Mandy, road cycling, hiking and playing volleyball. He's no stranger to being labeled a nerd and has no objection to being called one, either. Grant recently graduated from Xavier University where he earned degrees in English, digital innovation, film and television, and a minor in writing. He also served as managing editor at Xavier's newspaper, The Xavier Newswire. If not exploring Southern Indiana and Louisville's array of coffee shops and bars, you can find him escaping at your local movie theater or concert venue. JD DOTSON Explorer In addition to exploring for Extol, JD co-owns Regalo in Louisville and Southern Indiana. JD loves to hunt down the unique and eclectic things and experiences life has to offer and bring them to the store, his art, and Extol. JD has explored the country numerous times by car and on foot, but always loves coming home to his husband and their family of cats, dogs and chickens. STACY THOMAS Writer Known in Louisville as Girl Friday at Joseph's Salon & Spa – Stacy has never met a stranger. She has a knack for gauging personalities and mixing them together like a strong drink. Stacy is not afraid to try something new as she is always evolving. She sees the ART in the everyday and draws attention to its beauty. A storyteller and a wordsmith, Stacy could write enough books to fill a case. NICK CARTER Food Columnist Hair guru by day, self-proclaimed foodie by night, Nick dives right in to everything the Derby City and its surrounding areas have to offer. She enjoys musical theater, her ukulele and watching documentaries. JASON APPLEGATE Managing Partner and Director of Advertising & Sales Jason Applegate enjoys cooking, playing golf, and the free time he still has but knows he will soon lose now that he is a father.
