CONTRIBUTORS 7 SUNNI WIGGINTON Photographer Sunni Wigginton is an ambitious young woman who started her photography business when she was 13 years old. After overcoming a brain tumor and its repercussions at the young age of 16, she is now a full-time student working around-the-clock doing what she loves: photography. NICK CARTER Writer Nick Carter is a hair guru by day, self-proclaimed foodie by night and crazy cat lady always. Nick dives right in to everything Southern Indiana, Derby City and the surrounding areas have to offer. It was this love that prompted him to start the area's newest online food blog, Derby City Eats, and what better way to a man's heart, but through his stomach. A resident of Crescent Hill, and fur parent to three precious little babies, Nick wants share the food culture of this region one meal at a time and believes our humble community is one of the best culinary mecca's in the world. CHIRS JUNG Writer Chris Jung grew up in Louisville and has fond memories of Southern Indiana, particularly frequent trips as a child to River Falls Mall in Clarksville. Chris currently resides in Hopkinsville, where he works as sports editor for the Kentucky New Era. He was previously the Director of Operations for and co-founder of the Louisville Catholic Sports Network, has previous freelance stints with The Voice-Tribune and The Courier-Journal, was Cleveland.com team blogger for the Cleveland Indians and is the author of Journey to #1: A Season to Remember, a coffee table book that chronicles the 2011 national high school football champion, Louisville's Trinity High School. Chris and his wife, Brooke, met at Churchill Downs during the Kentucky Derby and are currently pursuing a goal of together visiting every Major League Baseball park in the country.
